How to Practice
- 1Perform the spider exercise using only legato technique.
- 2Ascending: Play 1-2-3-4 with hammer-ons across strings 6 to 1 at the same position. Shift up one fret only when moving back up the strings.
- 3Descending: After reaching the top, play 8-7-6-5 with pull-offs across strings 6 to 1 at the same position. Shift down one fret only when moving back up the strings.
